Welcome!

Hi, My name is Veronica McCarthy. I am a Reading Specialist who has taught reading in the school system as well as privately for over 25 years. I have 6 children and two of my daughters have dyslexia. This is what originally led me to all my research into how the brain learns to read. I have addressed the challenges of a struggling reader as a parent and as a teacher. This background has given me a unique knowledge base to use in guiding others to help children and adults overcome reading challenges and become successful, lifelong readers.
